Summary
The Best Connection in Worthing are recruiting for our prestigious global manufacturing client based in Bognor Regis. The role is for a Senior Administrator / Entry Level HR Advisor. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate and may lead to a permanent position. Due to our client's location, you will need to hold a UK Driving Licence as you may be required to drive between the sites in Bognor and Chichester.
Working in the HR department, no two days are ever the same. The site operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, you must flexible and able to occasionally work on weekends and evenings.
We are looking for either an experienced HR Advisor who is looking to demonstrate their skills and knowledge or potentially a senior administrator who is looking to move to the next level and build a career in HR.
Role Requirements
- Supporting the HR Team with a variety of tasks including Performance Management, disciplinary procedures, grievance, appeals, counselling sessions, absence management, appraisals and occupational health.
- Ensuring policies relating to employee management, recruitment, training and performance are adhered to.
- Responsibility for performance management against agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
- Supporting re-organisation and re-structuring activities
- Providing advice and support on employee benefits
- Using and updating internal software systems
- Assisting with conformance activities such as audits, employee record updating and keeping up to date with employment legislation
Essential Skills/Experience
To be considered for this position successful candidates must have experience of or be able to demonstrate proven ability to:
- Communicate clearly with a diverse workforce
- Administrative or HR experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Use of HR/Administrative software
- Health & Safety awareness
- Show initiative or decision making
- Driving licence
Hours: 07:55- 16:35 Mon-Thurs & 07:55- 13:35
A CIPD Level 3 qualification is advantageous for this role although not essential.
