Machine Operators / Plant Drivers – Long Ashton (Somerset) – Mando Solutions
Location: Long Ashton, Somerset
Pay: £18.00 - £25.00 per hour depending on experience, machine operated and qualifications
Working Pattern: Monday–Friday (occasional weekends)
Contract: 3–6 months initially, with long‑term opportunities
Start Dates: Multiple starts available
The Opportunity
We are looking for experienced Plant Operators and Machine Drivers to support upcoming civils and infrastructure projects in the Long Ashton area. We are especially interested in hearing from any machine operators with experience using excavators, rigid or articulated dump trucks, tracked and wheeled loading shovels, telehandlers and tractor tickets but any machine operators are welcome to apply.
Key Responsibilities
• Operate plant and machinery safely and efficiently
• Deliver high‑quality work across civils and groundworks activities
• Support site operations and follow management instructions
• Maintain compliance with RAMS, briefings and site controls
• Represent Mando Solutions professionally on site
Requirements
• CPCS / NPORS / MPQC for relevant plant (360, dumper, roller, telehandler, dozer, etc.)
• CSCS card (essential for most roles)
• Proven experience in plant operations
• Strong health & safety awareness
• Ability to work as part of a team
