We are seeking a skilled and proactive Joiner to deliver a high quality property maintenance service for our customers. You’ll work both independently and as part of a supportive team, ensuring all tasks are completed to a professional standard and fully comply with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities – What You’ll Do:
•Deliver a range of duties connected with the repair and maintenance of Cairn Housing Associations properties to provide effective and efficient service to our customers.
•Provide first-line advice to internal and external customers and partner agencies to ensure a consistent service.
•Maintain vehicles and all provided equipment to a high standard in line with company policies to promote the company image.
•Undertake administrative duties as required to support the processes within the department and provide necessary auditing.
•Provide technical advice and guidance on relevant policies and procedures such as tenant alterations or other repairs and maintenance issues, to ensure a consistent service.
Requirements – What We’re Looking For:
•NVQ level 2 or other recognised apprenticeship with 3-4 years’ experience in property maintenance services.
•CSCS accreditation, SVQ / C&G Level 3 Site Carpentry or NVQ / C&G Level 1 in Construction Skills would be desirable, however it is not mandatory.
•General IT literacy and a basic understanding of health and safety requirements.
•A driver’s licence, level 1 disclosure check and right-to-work verification are all mandatory for this role.
