About the Role:
Are you an experienced project officer with a passion for delivering meaningful change?

Swale Borough Council is recruiting for an exciting new role that will play a key part in delivering our organisation-wide transformation work.

As our Transformation Officer, you will lead and support a range of projects as part of our Transformation Programme. A significant part of the role will involve driving forward the delivery of our Customer Experience Strategy, ensuring we design services that are modern, accessible and customer-focused.

You will champion continuous improvement, digital innovation and organisational change—helping us improve customer satisfaction, deliver value for money, and support Swale Borough Council to effectively implement the change needed for Local Government Reorganisation.

This role is full time, working 34 hours per week, on a permanent contract. We offer a hybrid working arrangement, combining time in the office (1-2 days per week) with the flexibility to also work from home.

About You:
You will be a qualified to a degree level, or equivalent experience in business, process management or related field.

You will have proven experience in delivering transformation or service improvement projects within a complex organisation; and in customer service design and stakeholder engagement.

Additionally, you will have excellent communication, influencing, organisational and relationship building skills.

Selection Process:
