SEN Teacher (QTS) – Primary School

Birmingham (B25)
Full-Time | Permanent
Competitive salary (dependent on experience)

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Qualified Teacher (QTS) to join a supportive mainstream primary school in B25, Birmingham, specialising in supporting pupils with special educational needs (SEN). This is a permanent position offering the opportunity to make a real difference in children’s learning and development.

The Role
  • Plan, deliver, and adapt lessons to meet the needs of pupils with SEN


  • Support and challenge pupils to achieve their full potential


  • Work closely with the SENCO, teaching assistants, and other staff to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs)


  • Assess, monitor, and report on pupils’ progress


  • Promote inclusion, independence, and positive behaviour


  • Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues


    The Ideal Candidate
    • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)


    • Experience teaching pupils with SEN in a primary school setting


    • Strong knowledge of SEN strategies and the National Curriculum


    • Excellent classroom management and differentiation skills


    • Patient, flexible, and passionate about supporting all learners


    • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
