An experienced Accounts Senior is required for a large, national accountancy practice to join a growing accounts team.
This is a varied and demanding role, where you will benefit from a professional office with free parking and good transport links. Excellent company benefits and culture offering a wealth of career progression.
To be considered for this opportunity you do need to have gained prior accountancy practice experience, especially accounts preparation, management accounts and tax returns. It would be advantageous if you have used QuickBooks, Xero other Cloud accounting software.
Candidacy will be considered for ACA/ ACCA qualified individuals or if you are qualified by experience.
Duties and Responsibilities of Accounts Senior
Managing a dynamic portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all financial reporting and submissions.
Preparation and submission of year-end accounts, Corporation Tax Computations, VAT Returns, and Confirmation Statements with precision and efficiency.
Preparation of management accounts.
Mentoring and guiding junior team members, fostering a culture of growth, collaboration, and excellence.
Preparation of VAT Returns under different VAT schemes.
Dealing with ad hoc queries raised by clients.
Experience with Cloud based accountancy software.
Understanding of Companies Act disclosures for Financial Statements.
Liaising with clients via telephone and email and offering a superior customer service.
Working collaboratively with colleagues to reach team targets.
Working to deadlines.
