Caravan & Motorhome Valeter – Interior & Exterior
Overview
We are looking for a reliable, Valeter/Cleaner to carry out high‑quality cleaning and presentation of caravans and motorhomes. This role ensures every vehicle is cleaned, sanitised, and finished to a professional standard, ready for customer handover, sale, or service return.
Key Responsibilities
Exterior Valeting
• Full exterior wash including roof, panels, windows, wheels, tyres, and trims
• Safe use of pressure washers, brushes, and approved cleaning chemicals
• Removal of road film, algae, black streaks, and general exterior contamination
• Cleaning and polishing of exterior plastics, vents, and access doors
• Application of protective waxes or sealants (where required)
• Checking for exterior damage and reporting issues to the supervisor
Interior Valeting
• Full interior clean including living areas, kitchen, bathroom, and sleeping spaces
• Vacuuming carpets, upholstery, mattresses, and soft furnishings
• Wiping and sanitising all surfaces, cupboards, worktops, and appliances
• Deep cleaning of bathrooms, toilets, and shower areas
• Cleaning internal windows, blinds, flyscreens, and skylights
• Emptying bins and removing waste
• Odour removal and freshening treatments
• Reporting any interior defects, leaks, or damage
Additional Duties
• Moving caravans/motorhomes safely around the site (training provided if required)
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area
• Following company procedures for chemical handling and equipment use
• Completing job sheets and checklists accurately
• Supporting the wider team during busy periods
Skills & Experience
• Previous valeting or cleaning experience preferred (caravans/motorhomes ideal but not essential)
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Good communication and reporting skills
• Full UK driving licence preferred
