About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative / Driver to join our team within the stairlift industry. This is a varied role combining warehouse responsibilities with occasional driving duties to support deliveries, collections, and general operational needs. The role plays an important part in ensuring stairlift equipment and components are handled efficiently and delivered safely.
Key Responsibilities
Receiving, checking, and storing stairlift parts and equipment
Cleaning track and preparing orders for dispatch
Loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently
Carrying out occasional deliveries and collections using company vehicles
Ensuring goods are transported securely and delivered on time
Maintaining accurate stock records and assisting with stock takes when required
Keeping the warehouse clean, organised, and safe
Supporting colleagues and contributing to smooth day-to-day operations
Requirements
Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred
Full, clean UK driving license
Confidence driving vans or light commercial vehicles preferred
Ability to safely lift and move heavy items (this is a physically demanding role)
Good attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ambitious and wanting to progress
Excellent timekeeping
Positive, flexible, and reliable attitude
Able to stand for long periods of time
Basic IT skills are advantageous
Flexible approach to working hours to me operational demand
