Crynodeb
We are a small charity based in Spennymoor, County Durham. We employ people to befriend adults with a learning disability on a regular basis, the same client every week and usually at the the same time and location. You will start on 3 hours a week and build this up as we get more referrals. Activities are the clients choice as we aim to give them a sense of independence, activities can simply be shopping or going to a café. You will be paid travel expenses to the clients home and to where the clients choice of activities are. This is a very worthwhile role and will suit an empathetic and caring personality.
