Summary
NT Traders Ltd is seeking for a skilled and motivated Vehicle Technician to inspect, service, diagnose, and repair a wide range of vehicles to a high standard. You’ll play a key role in preparing vehicles for sale, ensuring safety, reliability, and excellent customer satisfaction.
Main duties include:
• Perform routine maintenance and undertake complex, hidden and time-intensive repairs on used cars and light motor vehicles, including brakes, suspension, steering, exhausts, clutches, and timing chain components.
• Rebuild full engine and automatic and manual gearbox to ensure mechanical performance and reliability.
• Use advanced tools to diagnose and trace mechanical and electrical faults, resolving intermittent issues effectively.
• Hybrid and electric vehicle systems, including battery diagnostics, repairs, and ensuring safety standards.
• Carry out ECU fault code reading, recalibration and mechanization unit repairs to ensure smooth vehicle driving performance.
Skills and Education:
• Proven experience as a Mechanic/Technician in the automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components, with expertise in diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Certification or relevant training in automotive mechanics is preferred.
