Crynodeb
We are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver to work at a busy National Distribution Centre based in Brighouse.
This is a full-time, permanent vacancy and an excellent opportunity to join a well-established company, working Monday to Friday on a day shift.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering to customers across the Midlands and the North of England, returning to the Brighouse depot at the end of each shift.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
Driving a Class 2 (HGV) vehicle from the Brighouse depot
Delivering goods to customers across the Midlands and North of England
Handballing and some heavy lifting as part of deliveries
Completing daily vehicle checks and ensuring compliance
Returning vehicle to depot at the end of each shift
Providing excellent customer service during deliveries
Dray experience is preferred but not essential.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
Valid HGV Class 2 licence (required)
Valid UK driving licence with less than 6 points (required)
Forklift (FLT) licence
Previous dray experience (preferred)
Good communication skills
Reliable and professional approach to work
Physically fit due to handballing and lifting requirements
