A growing, family‑run garage group in Colchester is expanding fast, with four garages already open and more on the way. We’re looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join the team. Whether you’re a time‑served Vehicle Technician, a qualified Vehicle Technician, or operating at Diagnostic or Master Technician level, there’s a place for you here.
This is a role where your skills are valued, your earnings are uncapped, and your progression is supported.
What’s on Offer
- £30,000 – £40,000 basic salary depending on experience
- Uncapped weekly bonuses
- 1 in 4 Saturdays (most Vehicle Technicians choose to work Saturday mornings, earning around £150 extra per day)
- 8:00am – 5:30pm, Monday to Friday

The Role
As a Vehicle Technician, you’ll carry out servicing, repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance across a wide range of vehicles. You’ll work to high standards of quality and safety while contributing to a positive workshop culture.
- Routine servicing and repair work
- Diagnostics and fault‑finding (depending on level)
- Ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards
- Supporting the workshop team and maintaining a clean, efficient environment

- Time‑served Vehicle Technicians, qualified Vehicle Technicians, Service Technicians, Diagnostic Technicians, or Master Technicians
- Strong mechanical knowledge and pride in workmanship
