Pay rate & Hours:
- £14 - £16 all standard hours
- Monday to Friday
- 08:00 till 16:30
Responsibilities of the Tool Maker:
- Manufacture, maintain, and repair precision tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures
- Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Operate manual and CNC machinery (milling, turning, grinding, etc.)
- Conduct tool trials and fault-finding
- Work closely with production and engineering teams to ensure optimal tool performance
- Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and housekeeping
Requirements of the Tool Maker:
- Proven experience as a Tool Maker
- Ability to read and interpret detailed technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of machining processes and tool design
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Relevant trade qualification (preferred)
