Are you passionate about making a real difference to the lives of young people? Do you have the drive and skills to ensure all students are supported to achieve their best?
Preston Muslim Girls High School is seeking an enthusiastic and organised Inclusion & Intervention Coordinator to join our dedicated team. This full-time role offers the opportunity to shape and deliver targeted intervention and support, making a meaningful impact on our diverse school community.
Key responsibilities:
Support students needing additional academic, social, emotional or pastoral help, including those with SEND, EAL and disadvantaged backgrounds
Coordinate, implement and monitor effective intervention programmes
Work collaboratively with staff to design and review personalised intervention plans
Promote and embed inclusive practices across the school
Oversee Friday after-school detentions and supervise students placed in isolation (on rare occasions)
Lead the morning intervention form (8:30–8:50), helping students catch up on missed work and reintegrate into lessons
We are looking for someone with:
Experience working with young people in an educational setting
Strong knowledge of inclusive practices and intervention strategies
Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare
