We are looking for a dedicated Support Worker to join our team. This home is a brand-new 4-bed Supported Accommodation home for 16–17-year-olds in Rhostyllen, Wrexham. This role involves providing daily support to young people as they develop their independence skills in a safe, nurturing and structured environment.

This is more than just a job – it’s an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people, supporting them to build resilience, independence, and confidence as they transition into adulthood.

What the Role Involves

- Building positive, trusting relationships with young people.

- Supporting with independence skills such as cooking, budgeting, and self-care.

- Promoting wellbeing and emotional resilience through daily support and structured routines.

- Encouraging engagement in education, training, and employment opportunities.

- Safeguarding young people in line with statutory guidance and company policies.

- Supporting community involvement, activities, and personal development.

- Working as part of a team to provide stability and consistency in the home.

- Recording keywork sessions, daily logs, and contributing to support planning.

What We’re Looking For

- Passion for supporting young people to achieve independence.

- Ability to build strong and supportive relationships.

- Patience, resilience, and adaptability.

- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.

- Experience in supported accommodation, residential childcare, or similar setting is desirable but not essential.

- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or willingness to complete this within agreed timescales.
