Crynodeb
For further information please refer to the job description and person specification 2.1 Clinical and Technical Laboratory services Supervise and take responsibility for the day-to-day planning and co-ordination of the main laboratory and CPGC service. This will include all aspects of the clinical scientific & technical work, staff, equipment and quality system. To ensure knowledge of all instrumentation and equipment is up to date and that the post holder is capable of operating such equipment e.g. automated immunostainers, cryostats, routine stainers, tissue processors, and all additional new equipment acquired after training. To ensure that clinical requests are met according to agreed policies on availability of tests and priorities. To ensure that work is carried out in line with Standing Operational Procedures and/or Departmental policy. To assist in the preparation of SOPs and other documentation.
