What you'll be doing Leading and developing the Radiotherapy engineering team Overseeing quality assurance, governance, audits and compliance Managing workload, performance and escalation of complex issues Liaising with senior clinicians and medical physics on service planning Contributing to procurement, commissioning and major installation projects Monitoring service risks and implementing improvement plans Ensuring accurate technical records, databases and reporting Representing the department in Trust-wide Health & Safety and regulatory forums What you'll lead You will manage a dedicated clinical engineering workforce responsible for approx: 19,000 devices across 450 product types 17,000+ maintenance and engineering jobs each year £48 million in managed medical equipment assets A team of highly skilled technicians and on occasion deputise when other leads of service are absent. You will set competency standards, oversee training, conduct performance reviews, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide professional leadership across Radiotherapy engineering.
