*To start the role/ training 1st June 2026 *
We are looking for a confident person who already has some healthcare training to be a care navigator and deal with general administrative duties for 20 hours per week (shifts will vary 0800hrs-1300hrs and 1330hrs-18.30hrs) Must be flexible to cover Annual leave and sickness.
Care navigation is a way for general practice staff to ensure patients get the right help from the right person ,to help patients find the best course of care for their needs. .
We are a small ,very busy practice so some experience of working in primary care is essential .Every day is different in a fast paced but friendly working environment.
In return we are offering extra training , an hourly rate above the minimum wage and payment into the NHS pension scheme.

* 6 month probationary period
*Due to the proximity of the Health Centre and the variation in shifts you will need to be able to drive to site, live locally as it is difficult to access via public transport especially through the winter months
All candidates must be prepared to complete this mandatory training below and also have the right to work in the UK
*Safeguarding, Infection control and data quality training are mandatory and will be required for this role .DBS check and 2 references also required .
