Start your career where your impact matters.

Are you curious about how major public services buy the technology, goods, and services that keep the country running? Do you enjoy problem solving, analysing information, and working with people? Whether you're a recent graduate or looking to pivot into a new career, this is an exceptional opportunity to build a long term future in the commercial profession.

Join a programme designed to train you and launch you into a meaningful role within the UK public sector.

The Opportunity

Begin your journey with 6 weeks of fully immersive, fulltime virtual training, delivered by expert instructors. This programme equips you with the skills and confidence needed to succeed from day one as a Trainee Commercial Analyst.

You will gain industry recognised training aligned to public sector commercial standards, including preparation for CIPS Level 3 & Level 4 qualifications.

Once training is complete, you will step into a role with one of our respected public sector clients, contributing to high impact procurement and supply chain projects that support essential services across the UK.

No prior commercial experience is required—just motivation, curiosity, and a commitment to learning.

The Role

As a Trainee Commercial Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting procurement activity and driving value for public services. Responsibilities include:

Supporting procurement processes in line with policy, governance standards, and procurement law

Helping develop contract management plans, commercial strategies, and category insights

Conducting financial analysis, market research, and early market engagement

Supporting initiatives that drive savings, improve supplier performance, and deliver social value

This role is ideal for analytical thinkers who enjoy working with data, collaborating with stakeholders, and contributing to meaningful decision making.

What We’re Looking For

Interest in technology, business, procurement, or finance—and a passion for digitalisation

A proactive mindset and eagerness to learn

Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple pieces of work

Confident communication and stakeholder engagement skills

A process driven and analytical approach

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and a general data savvy mindset

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Permanent Right to Work in the UK (without sponsorship, now or in future)

If you enjoy structured learning, problem solving, and working with diverse stakeholders, you’ll thrive in this pathway.

Benefits

Earn while you learn – full salary from day one
28 days annual leave, including bank holidays
Optional medical insurance and additional tax efficient benefits
A structured career path with ongoing professional development
Exposure to high value, meaningful public sector projects
Long term progression opportunities within a large, agile public sector department

Your Future Starts Here

This is more than a job—it’s a supported route into a profession with strong long term career prospects, industry recognised qualifications, and the opportunity to make a real difference.

If you're ready to take the first step toward a commercial career in the public sector, we’d love to hear from you.
