The role:
We are looking to recruit a Technician for our SRAM Technical Centre in Darlington. Reporting to the SRAM Technical Centre Manager, the position is responsible for the service and repair of SRAM related components to meet the quality and Service Level Agreements expected by SRAM.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
• Processing, repairing and servicing SRAM group products to SRAM’s expectations.
• Daily use of a CRM system to log cases, MS Outlook, Teams and Excel used on a daily basis.
• Reading and following technical documentation and service manuals.
• Stock movement and management between the SRAM Technical Centre warehouse and workshop.
• Accurately logging parts and labour against tickets in the CRM system to enable them to be claimed back from SRAM
• Provide industry leading telephone technical support to riders and retailers on SRAM related products.
• Communicate clearly and professionally via telephone, email and via written job sheets, representing ZyroFisher and SRAM with each interaction.
• Achieve the company’s key performance indicator targets.
The requirements:
This is a fantastic opportunity which will suit an ambitious individual who is keen to learn and challenge best practice with new ways of thinking. You will be extremely organised, be deadline focussed and have a keen eye for detail.
Essential:
Good level of GCSE’s or the equivalent, passed in Maths and English.
Knowledge of the cycling industry and the technical make up of a bicycle and its component parts.
Experience of bicycle component maintenance, service and repair.
Experience of working with highly confidential information.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Be able to thrive with a “Customer Service” approach.
Resilient and able to deal with difficult situations.
