The Role
Due to continued growth and expansion, we have an immediate opportunity for a skilled and experienced CNC Miller to join our team. The successful candidates will work primarily with Oil & Gas and Motorsports components, joining a long-standing team
Responsibilities
. Programme, set & operate CNC Mills with Fanuc controls
. Generating new programs as per drawing requirements
. Setting tools 2/3 times a day
. Producing components from 5mm to 300mm diameter
. Working with wide range of materials
. Prototype work and small batch
. Working on highly technical products to tight tolerances and strict quality standards
The Person
The successful candidate will be qualified, fully-skilled engineer with a minimum of three years CNC Milling experience. They will be able to carry out 1st Inspections of their own work
To be considered for this role you must have:
. Three years CNC programming/setting and operating experience
. Working knowledge of Fanuc programming essential
. Experience of producing conforming first-offs to drawing and quality specifications
. Experience with modern quality control standards and measurement of parts
. Experience of working to tight tolerances
. CADCAM offline experience - Edgecam
