Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday, 17:00 - 19:30
Pay Rate: £12.65 per hour
We are looking for a reliable Part-Time Janitor to carry out daily cleaning duties within a professional facility. This role is ideal for someone who is self-motivated and able to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean labs, washrooms, offices, hallways, and cafeteria areas
- Dispose of waste and manage recycling
- Dust and polish surfaces and fixtures
- Replenish supplies (paper towels, soap, garments, etc.)
- Maintain cleaning supplies and report low stock
- Carry out occasional deep cleaning tasks (e.g. floor stripping/waxing)
- Keep external areas tidy (walkways, smoking areas)
- Respond to cleaning and facilities requests promptly
What We're Looking For
- Previous cleaning or maintenance experience
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills
- Basic English proficiency
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable working in an indoor environment with possible exposure to dust, noise, or odours
- Experience in pharmaceutical or food production environments is beneficial but not essential
