Job Type: Temporary (Mother’s Day Peak Period – with potential for ongoing work)
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour + Overtime after 40 hours

Are you an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver looking for work during a busy seasonal period?
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established, family-run flower business based in Newstead Village, Annesley, to support their busy Mother’s Day operations.

This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced warehouse environment where you will play a key part in keeping stock moving efficiently and safely during one of the company’s busiest times of year.

The Role – Key Responsibilities:

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently

  
  

• Loading and unloading deliveries of flowers, stock and packaging materials

  
  

• Moving pallets between goods-in, storage and production areas

  
  

• Supplying the production team with stock as required

  
  

• Assisting with stock rotation and warehouse organisation

  
  

• Ensuring all health & safety procedures are followed at all times

  
  

• Supporting general warehouse duties where required

  
  

  This role will involve both forklift work and some manual handling, so you must be comfortable working in a physically active environment.

  ✅ What We’re Looking For:

  • Valid, in-date Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential)

    
    

  • Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse environment

    
    

  • Confident loading/unloading vehicles safely

    
    

  • Good awareness of health & safety procedures

    
    

  • Reliable, punctual and able to commit to the full Mother’s Day peak period

    
    

  • A flexible and team-focused attitude

    
    

    Experience within a fast-moving or seasonal warehouse environment would be advantageous.
