TeacherActive is seeking dedicated SEND/SEMH Teachers across Primary and Secondary schools in Birmingham. You’ll be providing tailored teaching and pastoral support to pupils who require additional help, helping them build confidence, stability, and academic progress.
These roles are ideal for teachers who are patient, calm, and motivated by helping learners overcome barriers.
The Successful SEND/SEMH Teacher Will Have:
• QTS or strong teaching experience within SEND or SEMH environments
• Ability to adapt teaching to a wide range of learning needs
• Excellent behaviour management and de‑escalation skills
• A caring, consistent and relationship‑focused approach
• Strong communication with parents, carers and wider teams
• A solid understanding of safeguarding and child protection
