Salary: Apprenticeship Wage – £7.55 per hour
Hours: 30 hours per week (full-time)

Qualification: Level 3 Early Years Educator
Duration: 14 months
About the Apprenticeship
This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a nursery setting while working towards your Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification.
You will be employed full-time in a local nursery and supported throughout your apprenticeship by a dedicated in-setting mentor and Lead Support Coaches. Your taught sessions will take place online via remote delivery, which you must be fully available to attend.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for this apprenticeship, you must:
-Hold GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4/C or above, or Functional Skills Level 2 (or equivalent)
-Have been resident in the UK for a minimum of three years
Key Responsibilities
Working towards the Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification
Supporting children’s learning and development through engaging activities
Providing a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment
Preparing and maintaining resources and learning spaces
Supporting children’s self-care and independence skills
Assisting with the preparation of breakfast, snacks and afternoon tea
Working effectively as part of the nursery team
Following safeguarding policies and procedures at all times
Promoting equality, diversity and inclusive practice
Participating in required training, including Paediatric First Aid
Career Progression
On successful completion, you may progress into a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner role, with the potential for a permanent position within the nursery.
Future career opportunities may include:
Room Leader or management roles
Continued professional development within early years
Progression into primary education
Paediatric nursing
Other specialist roles within childcare and education
