Responsibilities Independent Non-Executive Directors will provide constructive challenge, strategic insight and assurance across the organisation. Each postholder will chair or contribute to one or more Board sub-committees, supporting high standards of governance, risk management and accountability. Key responsibilities include: Providing independent oversight and scrutiny to support effective governance and regulatory compliance Constructively challenging strategy, performance, risk and assurance at Board level Supporting the Board in setting and reviewing the organisations strategic direction Upholding and promoting Nimbuscares values of Collaboration, Patient-Centred Care and Compassion Chairing or actively contributing to designated Board sub-committees Bringing external insight and system perspective to strengthen Board decision-making Championing high standards of integrity, transparency and accountability
