Communication Develop and maintain effective communication with staff undertaking education programmes which shows a sensitivity to their individual circumstances. Articulate and interpret information for staff ensuring understanding. Demonstrate an ability to communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams across NWNODN dealing with complex situations and working towards a resolution. Create an environment that encourages and maintains effective communication systems between the Trusts and the NWNODN. Analytical Skills Ensure appropriate systems are in place to maintain accurate records. Assist in the development and evaluation of teaching programmes. Demonstrate an awareness of cost implications associated with the programmes and ensure effective use of all resources. Demonstrate an overall awareness of quality issues and a commitment to continuous quality improvement. In collaboration with NWNODN Team and hospital-based manger and educators deal appropriately with capability or professional issues. Planning and Organising Skills Utilise specialist neonatal knowledge and experience in the development and delivery of education across the north-west. Work within the neonatal service Providers to support the planning and delivery Education across NW. Organise room booking/virtual delivery tools for learning as appropriate. Physical Skills Standard keyboard skills A high proportion of time will be office-based, using computer equipment. There will be a requirement to work to tight timescales and competing deadlines Responsibility for Policy/Service Development To uphold organisational policies and principles on the promotion of equality and diversity.
