T&H Power Products is a well-established and busy garden machinery business based in Burscough. We are looking to recruit a skilled and motivated Mechanical Fitter to join our growing team. Due to continued expansion and a high demand for our services, we are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual with experience working on a range of machinery. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly, supportive team within a reputable local business.
The Role
You will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing and repairing a variety of garden and small plant machinery, including:
Pedestrian and ride-on mowers
Generators
Engines
Water pumps
Other petrol and diesel-powered equipment
Full product training will be provided where required.
The Ideal Candidate
Previous experience working on machinery such as mowers, ride-on tractors, generators, engines or water pumps
Strong mechanical knowledge and fault-finding skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good attention to detail
A positive, can-do attitude
Full UK driving licence preferred (but not essential)
