Equans is looking for a Retrofit Assessor (12 Month FTC) to join our team either in Birmingham on a permanent basis. Please note there will be travel on a daily basis in and around Birmingham with the occasional requirement to go further afield within the West Midlands. The Retrofit Assessor will complete retrofit assessments and EPC’s on addresses forming part of an Equans Sustainability project. Addresses will be already identified by our clients What will you deliver?The retrofit assessor will need to contact residents to make appointments, attend site to conduct assessments and EPC’s, capturing photographic evidence, and completing agreed Equans standard documentation The results of assessments will then need to be fed back to wider team, with uploading of documentation and required EPC lodgements completed in a timely manner. Completion of documentation within a specific software platform may be required Work closely with the retrofit coordinators and designs on specific property archetypes and projects The role requires close working with site teams to ensure assessments are aligned with programme of works, and engagement with Resident Liaison Officer to obtain property access It is important the information captured is accurate, as the assessments will be utilised for retrofit design, and lodgement of properties under the PAS 2030/2035 process to support funded retrofit schemes with our social housing clients The role requires occasional attendance at training courses and team meetings Carry out detailed retrofit assessments in line with PAS 2035 requirements Identify suitable energy efficiency measures based on property characteristics Identify potential risks including damp and mould, and building pathology concerns What can we offer you?
