Recruit4staff are representing a well-established large food manufacturing facility in their search for an Industrial Cleaner to work in Skelmersdale
Job Details:
• Pay: £12.21 per hour (Overtime available at £18.31 per hour)
• Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 2:00pm – 10:00pm
• Duration: Temp to Perm (3 months)
• Benefits: Ongoing free training, pension, permanent positions available after qualifying period
Job Role: The Industrial Cleaner will be responsible for cleaning all areas within a busy food manufacturing environment, ensuring high standards of hygiene are maintained at all times. Duties include deep cleaning in high-risk areas, operating a MEWP (full training provided), and using industrial cleaning equipment such as scrubber dryers, industrial vacuums, and sweepers. The Hygiene Operative will play a key role in maintaining food safety standards and supporting production operations.
Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:
• Previous commercial cleaning experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced factory environment
• Good understanding of hygiene standards
• Willingness to undertake training including MEWP operation
Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications
• Previous experience using industrial cleaning equipment
• Food Hygiene Certificate
