Crynodeb
As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for the service, diagnosis, maintenance and repair of all types of light vehicles in this busy repair workshop. Working as part of the existing servicing team.
Expectation to work within industry specified repair times
If you are an MOT tester, you will be responsible for performing Class 4 MOT Tests and associated duties in accordance with the rules and guidelines set by the DVSA. If you are not currently an MOT tester training could be provided to help achieve this qualification.
Job Responsibilities
Perform servicing, maintenance, and repairs on many types of vehicles while maintaining company and industry standards and adhering to time constraints.
Carry out vehicle repairs and communicate issues to the Garage Manager. Conduct additional repair work as advised by managers or advisors.
Maintain the workplace in a neat and orderly manner in accordance with business standards, whilst ensuring the safety of all team members.
Essential Skills and Qualifications Needed:
You will be a qualified, certified Technician (NVQ / City & Guilds or equivalent to Level 3)
Hold a Full UK Driver's License.
Advanced technical knowledge and expertise at least 3 years experience
The ability to work without supervision.
