Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced .NET SQL Developer to join our growing development team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about building scalable applications, writing efficient database queries, and delivering high-quality software solutions in a collaborative environment.

You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimising applications using the Microsoft .NET framework alongside SQL Server databases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain applications using .NET (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core)


  • Write, optimise, and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views


  • Design and maintain SQL Server databases


  • Troubleshoot and resolve application and database performance issues


  • Collaborate with front-end developers, analysts, and stakeholders to deliver business requirements


  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development best practices


  • Support deployment, testing, and ongoing system maintenance


    Essential Skills & Experience
    • Strong experience with C# and the .NET framework (.NET Core preferred)


    • Solid experience with Microsoft SQL Server


    • Advanced knowledge of T-SQL, stored procedures, indexing, and performance tuning


    • Experience building and consuming APIs (RESTful services)


    • Understanding of database design principles and normalization


    • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)


    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills


      Desirable Skills
      • Experience with Entity Framework


      • Knowledge of Azure or other cloud platforms


      • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments


      • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
