About the Role

Long Term Futures are seeking an experienced and nurturing SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a KS1 pupil with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) at a supportive primary school in Harrow.

You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored support, using structured routines, visual timetables and positive behaviour strategies to help the pupil access learning and regulate emotions. The role includes supporting phonics, early literacy, numeracy and social interaction, while promoting independence and confidence.

This inclusive Harrow primary school has a strong SEN provision and supportive leadership team. Staff work collaboratively and there are good public transport links across North West London.

About You
- Experience supporting children with ASD (KS1 preferred)
- Calm, patient and consistent approach
- Strong understanding of early years development
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
