Summary
Speech and Language Therapist
Band: Band 7 equivalent (pro-rata, dependent on qualifications and experience)
Hours: Flexible, up to 37.5 hours per week
Working Pattern: Term time only, plus 5 training days and 3 planning and preparation days
We are delighted to be recruiting an experienced and dedicated Speech and Language Therapist to join a well-established multidisciplinary team within a specialist post-16 education setting. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled clinician seeking a term-time-only role while continuing to deliver meaningful, high-quality therapeutic support to young people with complex needs.
You will provide specialist speech and language therapy support to students aged 16-25 with a diverse range of needs, including severe and profound learning disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and complex physical needs.
Working both autonomously and collaboratively, you will manage your own caseload while contributing to a supportive, integrated multidisciplinary team. There are also opportunities for collaboration across sites, promoting shared best practice and professional growth.
Key responsibilities include:
