Summary

This post offers an excellent development opportunity for a training-focused GI/GU Radiographer, supported by a formal commitment to education and enrolment on a relevant postgraduate qualification. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of senior colleagues to develop the skills required to manage a varied caseload of adult and CYP patients undergoing a range of Fluoroscopy procedures and CT Colonography examinations. In addition to clinical training, the post holder will be encouraged to contribute to the education and support of students and junior staff, helping to foster a positive and inclusive learning culture within the department. There will also be opportunities to engage in academic and professional development activities in collaboration with University partners. While not expected to take on leadership responsibilities while training, the post holder may support the day-to-day running of the service in the absence of senior staff and will play an active role in maintaining a learning-rich environment across the multidisciplinary team.

13. Lead audits and provide feedback to improve service delivery.
14. Maintain compliance with health and safety standards, infection control, and risk management.
