Healthcare Assistant - Ultrasound Hours: Full time, fixed term. April 27 th 2026 to April 30 th 2027, 9:30am-6pm, Monday to Friday. Overtime available on weekends Area: North West London (Wembley Park) Salary: £25,467 We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated, enthusiastic Healthcare Assistant for our London diagnostic services. To succeed you must have excellent communication skills and a flexible, proactive approach to delivering first class diagnostic services and patient care. The post holder will work closely with Sonographers, supporting them with patients during their clinics. Training is provided and further career development opportunities throughout the company. Responsibilities include: Ensuring the smooth running of clinics Assisting in the care and comfort of patients Assisting Sonographers during examinations Ensuring the clinical room is prepared prior to the start of clinical sessions Using the patient information systems (Soliton/PACS) To monitor and ensure sufficient stock levels are consistently maintained in a designated clinic. To order supplies when required Ensuring and maintaining a patient centred and quality focused approach to all aspects of work Ensure patients have access to a chaperone at all times Uphold Healthshare's professional standards policy Uphold data protection and patient confidentiality at all times Requirements: Good communication skills Basic computer skills Flexible in approach to work Ability to be tactful and diplomatic Good organisational skills Previous experience within a healthcare environment is desirable UK applications only It is important that your application meets the minimum requirements of the person specification, as we will shortlist against these details.
