Job Description Practice Nurse Reference: A5481-26-0002 Hours: Part-Time (3 days per week) Pay Scheme: OtherMain Purpose of the Role To provide high-quality nursing care to patients within the GP practice, supporting the delivery of safe, effective, and patient-centred services.Key Responsibilities Run nurse-led clinics and manage long-term conditions such as asthma, diabetes, and hypertension Deliver immunisations and vaccination programmes Undertake cervical screening Provide health promotion, lifestyle advice, and preventative care to patients Monitor and maintain accurate patient records in line with practice policies and clinical governance requirements Participate in audits, quality improvement initiatives, and infection control procedures Work collaboratively with GPs, healthcare assistants, and administrative staff to ensure smooth operation of the practice
