Parc Recruitment Ltd is delighted to be working with a well-established, growing business based in Nursling Industrial Estate to recruit a Operations Administrator.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a small, friendly team within a varied and hands-on role. The business operates in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same, and this position offers exposure across operations, sales, marketing, compliance and administration.
This role would suit someone organised, proactive and eager to learn, who enjoys being involved in different aspects of a business.
The Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager and working closely with the Sales Manager and Graphic Designer, responsibilities will include:
General Administration
Managing correspondence and filing
Purchasing equipment and office supplies
Providing day-to-day administrative support across departments
Ecommerce & Website Support
Monitoring stock levels
Setting up new customer accounts
Uploading and maintaining product listings
Marketing Support
Creating simple social media posts (using Canva)
Proofreading marketing materials and brochures
Updating website content with new products
Data & Compliance
Compiling and maintaining data to support WEEE and EPR compliance
Ensuring accurate record-keeping and reporting
Sales Support
Producing Excel-based reports
Supporting the external sales team
Attending trade shows and exhibitions when required
Additional Duties
Assisting with trade show preparation
Supporting at the trade counter
Helping with general operational tasks as needed
This is a varied position and not purely desk-based.
The Ideal Candidate
Quick learner with strong IT confidence
Comfortable using Excel and working with data
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Positive, flexible and willing to support across different tasks
Reliable with a proactive approach
Previous office or administrative experience would be advantageous but is not essential. Attitude and willingness to learn are key.
Working Hours
Monday – Thursday: 8:30am – 5:00pm
Friday: 8:30am – 2:30pm
Salary & Benefits
£21,500 – £25,000 depending on age and experience
25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays
Annual leave increases by 0.5 days per year after 5 years’ service
