Crynodeb
This role will be based on the university campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements
Based out of the Transformation Office, the central team which supports the delivery of strategic organisation change and transformation initiatives across the University, the Senior Project Manager’s initial placement will be supporting the University’s Business Engagement (BE) Directorate.
The University is investing significantly to transform its approach to industry relationships and the provision of academic services to corporate clients, including consulting, research, training and development. This next phase of this work will span in-house capability building, operating model redesign, product and pipeline development, and sales and income generation.
Working closely with the Director of Business Engagement and other senior BE team members, the Senior Project Manager will own and maintain the implementation plan for the next phase of the BE’s work. Working in collaboration with senior stakeholders within the BE and the wider University, the Senior Project Manager will manage and coordinate a delivery team drawn from multiple services and teams across the University, including academics, researchers, professional services, business change specialists and third-party suppliers.
What we offer in return
26 days holiday plus approx.16 Bank Holidays/days that the University is closed by custom (including Christmas) – That’s 42 days a year!
Generous pension scheme plus life assurance.
Health and Wellbeing: Discounted staff membership options at The Edge, our state-of-the-art Campus gym, with a pool, sauna, climbing wall, cycle circuit, and sports halls.
Personal Development: Access to courses run by our Organisational Development & Professional Learning team.
Access to on-site childcare, shopping discounts and travel schemes are also available.
And much more!
