Job Title: Raw Material Quality Auditor – Chilled Food Manufacturing
Shift Pattern: Sunday-Thursday
Working hours: Sunday 8:30 – 15:30, Monday 7:30 – 17:00, Tuesday/Thursday 9:30 – 18:00
Location: Unit 4, Bristol Distribution Park, Hawkley Drive, Woodlands Road, Bradley Stoke, Bristol BS32 0BF
Salary: £13,90 p/h

What You’ll Be Doing
As our Raw Material Quality Auditor, you’ll be the gatekeeper of quality from the very start of our production process. Your role
will include:
* Conducting thorough checks to ensure incoming raw materials and packaging meet agreed supplier specifications
* Monitoring storage processes to ensure safe, compliant practices
* Managing supplier non-conformances — raising, reviewing and closing out issues effectively
* Collecting and handling samples in line with procedures to ensure food safety and legality
* Completing and maintaining accurate documentation for full traceability
* Ensuring records are audit-ready for both internal and external inspections
* Collaborating with technical and management teams during audits to ensure smooth traceability with zero gaps
* Monitoring temperature control systems and escalating out-of-spec readings
* Conducting regular fridge and probe checks across site
* Supporting compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental policies
* Keeping operations teams informed about QA activities, results and trends
* Acting as a buddy to new starters when required
* Supporting schedule changes and business needs when necessary
* Always looking for smarter, safer, more efficient ways to work
We’re searching for someone who is:
* Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent) with strong numeracy and literacy skills
* Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications
* Knowledgeable in GMP and production environments
* Confident in allergen management and non-conformance reporting
* A strong problem-solver with sound decision-making skills
* Microbiologically aware with a solid understanding of food safety
* Food Safety Level 3
* Health & Safety Level 2
* Internal Auditor qualification
