Teaching Assistant (Grade 1)
Monday to Friday, 09:30am – 12:00 midday - Term-time only
Could you support one of our pupils to access education alongside their peers?
Could you help and inspire them to achieve? If so, we would love to hear from you.
We are looking to appoint a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join our small, friendly team of staff as soon as possible.
Experience of working 1:1 with a child, or working within a primary school setting, would be advantageous, but not essential.
Your role will involve working closely with the class teacher to ensure the social, emotional and educational needs of the pupil are being met in school.
The successful candidate will need to have:
• Patience, enthusiasm, a caring attitude and a desire to nurture children.
• High expectations of all children both academically and socially.
• A belief in a rounded education, with all areas of the curriculum being valued.
• A desire to help children to find their unique talents.
• A desire to promote good outcomes for all children and to support our Christian vision.
• A strong commitment to teamwork.
• Adaptability and flexibility.
• The ability to show initiative and be creative.
• An understanding of positive behaviour management techniques.

Salary Scale: TA1 Spinal Column Point 2, plus SEN allowance
