Responsibilities
Provide a high level of service to customers throughout the claims journey.
Proactively manage all aspects of credit hire and third party vehicle damage claims, presented by a third party and their representatives, to mitigate claims costs.
Make necessary investigations and decisions on liability and quantum, identifying possible fraudulent cases, highlighting indemnity concerns and corroborating circumstances to make accurate liability assessments at the earliest possible stage.
Negotiate with claimant representatives in order to progress and settle credit hire claims, quickly and effectively, within your agreed authority level, based on relevant case law.
Instruct and liaise with approved suppliers and company solicitors in the event of credit hire litigation.
Maintain own caseload to a high standard. Ensure files are accurately reserved, in line with the company reserving philosophy.
Respond to feedback given to you, from regular quality audits on Claims files, to grow your own technical capability and that of your team. Take responsibility for your own agreed development actions and wider training needs.
Support development and delivery of the claim’s strategy and vision.
Liaise effectively with other departments and other business functions as appropriate to ensure identification and appropriate management of all Claims.
