We are currently seeking a highly skilled Vehicle Technician on behalf of our client, a prominent and privately-owned dealer group with a nationwide presence, to join a prestigious dealership located in Cheltenham. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of vehicle maintenance and repair, contributing to the dealership’s reputation for excellence.

Duties:
- Conduct fault diagnosis, servicing, and repair on a variety of vehicle makes and models
- Ensure repairs and services are carried out to manufacturer and dealership standards
- Accurately diagnose faults and report vehicle condition, safety, reliability, and performance issues to the Service Manager
- Adhere strictly to quality procedures and safety standards established by the dealership and manufacturer
- Support alongside team members to meet daily targets and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
- Keep detailed records of work completed and parts used
- Where applicable, perform MOT tests (full training provided for candidates without existing MOT license)
Requirements:
- Qualified Vehicle Technician with IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- Reside within a reasonable commuting distance of Cheltenham
- Hold a valid UK driving licence with minimal points
- Demonstrate strong technical knowledge and ability to produce high-quality work in a busy dealership environment
- Be a motivated individual with excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- A current MOT license would be advantageous but is not essential, as full training is provided
- Ability to work weekday hours from 8:30am to 5:00pm and participate in a 1 in 3 Saturday rota
