Fire & Security Technical Service Coordinator – Cambridge - £40,000
We are currently working with a well-established Fire & Security company who are looking to recruit an experienced Service Coordinator to support their service department. This is an office-based role coordinating engineers and managing reactive and planned works across fire and security systems.
Package:
- £30,000 - £40,000
- Office based role
- Monday – Friday | 8am – 5pm
- 21 days holiday + 8 bank holidays
Duties:
- Scheduling and coordinating engineers for reactive call-outs and PPM visits
- Managing emergency call-outs and prioritising jobs to meet SLA response times
- Being the main point of contact for clients, ARCs and engineers
- Handling URN enquiries and service requests
- Updating job progress and maintaining service records for audit purposes
- Liaising with clients regarding remedial works following fire risk assessments
- Processing quotes and following up for approval
- Organising tools, materials and specialist fire & security equipment
- Maintaining compliance paperwork including NSI certificates and service logs
- Providing a high level of customer service and dealing with issues or complaints
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a Service Coordinator or similar role
- Background within Fire & Security or Facilities Management
- Good understanding of reactive works and service scheduling
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple jobs
- Confident communication skills with engineers and clients
- Good attention to detail
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and service management systems
- Able to work under pressure in a busy service environment
Desirable:
- Experience working for an NSI Gold or BAFE accredited company
- Knowledge of BS 5839, NSI and BAFE standards
- Experience managing maintenance contracts or 24/7 call-out rotas
- Understanding of fire risk assessments and remedial works
