Do you have experience working in finance or a more generalist administration role, involving high-volume data input, requiring accuracy and attention to detail?

We're currently looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant, on a 6 month contract basis, to join our fabulous Accounts Payable team here at Platform Housing Group, the largest social housing association in the Midlands, but we're much more than just houses; we build homes, strong communities, and make a real and positive difference to the lives of our customers.

As our Accounts Payable Assistant, you'll ensure accurate, complete, timely processing and maintenance of purchase related invoices and any related transactions in the financial systems and relevant ledgers. You will work with operations, corporate functions and suppliers to resolve invoice queries and work collaboratively to resolve root cause issues and improve on processes to enable timely payment to suppliers and recording of financial transactions/costs.What are we looking for?

-Experience working in a fast paced, high-volume administrative environment and delivery of excellent customer service

-Previous data input experience, comfortable working with a high volume of transactions, processing invoices effectively and efficiently

-Experience of working within a finance or data driven environment where attention to detail and accuracy are essential to your role.

-Good problem-solving ability and desire to contribute new ideas to support continuous improvement.

-A motivated, supportive and reliable team-player

Whilst this role offers the flexibility of being home-based, travel to our offices at Birmingham Business Park, Solihull and Central Park, Worcester, will be required.
