A warm and supportive primary school in Maghull is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join their team immediately on a full‑time, long‑term basis.
The Role
You will be expected to:
- Support teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
- Work alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons and activities
- Provide focused 1:1 or small‑group support when required
- Assist with behaviour management and help promote positive learning behaviours
- Contribute to a nurturing, inclusive and well‑organised classroom environment
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant in a primary setting (essential)
- Strong understanding of classroom support strategies
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- A proactive, calm and supportive approach
- An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
