Your new company
You will work for an innovative and rapidly expanding organisation in the renewable energy sector who are seeking a commercially focused finance leader to drive financial strategy and governance, supporting clients across investment, operations, and asset performance.

Your new role
Reporting to the Group Finance Director, the role will act as the primary finance lead for key Managed Service Agreements, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of all contractual financial obligations for renewable energy assets. Specific responsibilities will include:
Financial Reporting & Analysis - prepare monthly management accounts, financial statements, and Board Packs; provide clear, data-driven insights and commentary; prepare statutory financial accounts; develop KPI dashboards for monthly performance reporting to the Board; prepare and submit VAT returns and other statutory returns.
Strategic Planning & Budgeting - liaise with all stakeholders to lead the annual business planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for the individual assets.
Risk Management & Compliance - ensure compliance with FRS, GAAP and regulatory requirements; maintain strong internal controls and manage financial risks.
Cash Flow & Working Capital - oversee weekly and monthly cash flow forecasting; report cash position and risks to investors and stakeholders.
Stakeholder Collaboration - act as key finance contact for auditors, investors, customers, and suppliers.
Team Leadership - lead, mentor, and develop the finance team.
Governance - lead implementation and governance of MSA; challenge costs, pricing, and budget adherence



What you'll need to succeed
Essential Criteria
Qualified accountant (CA / CIMA / ACCA)
Experience in financial management and reporting to senior executives.
High level of proficiency in financial modelling
Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical abilities.

Desirable Criteria
Experience in implementing new ERP/Finance systems
Experience with complex contracts or infrastructure projects.
