Contract: Part Time Salary: £12.21 Per Hour Shift Type: Dayshift Contracted hours: 20Struan Lodge is a purpose built care home providing exceptional Nursing, Dementia and Palliative care for up to 30 residents. Our home offers a warm and supportive environment where residents are cared for with dignity, compassion and respect.
We are now recruiting a Domestic / Laundry Assistant who will play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming home. Your attention to detail and commitment to high standards of hygiene will directly support residents’ comfort and wellbeing. You will be part of a supportive team where your contribution is recognised and valued.
What We Offer

What You Will Do
You will carry out domestic cleaning duties throughout the home, ensuring all areas are clean, tidy and maintained to a high standard. This will include cleaning floors, furniture, fixtures, fittings and sanitary areas in line with infection prevention procedures. You will remove waste safely and ensure supplies are replenished as required.
You will also support the laundry service, ensuring residents’ clothing and linens are handled carefully, labelled correctly and returned promptly. You will follow infection control and safety procedures at all times and work closely with colleagues to maintain a comfortable and well organised environment for residents.
