Salary - 50,000 - 55,000 DOE

About the Role


We are seeking a Customer Development & Relations Manager to take ownership of a defined portfolio of healthcare accounts across the UK. This is a strategic commercial role-not a reactive customer service position.
You will strengthen partnerships within NHS and private healthcare, identify growth opportunities, support sustainability and education initiatives, and ensure our client value proposition reaches neurophysiology teams nationwide.
Due to continued expansion, we require an experienced, commercially driven professional who can take this function to the next level.

  • Data driven and confident analysing trends, activity and commercial performance
  • Highly detail?oriented, organised and thorough
  • Naturally inquisitive-a "detective" who enjoys identifying key stakeholders and understanding how hospitals operate
  • Skilled at building strong relationships with clinicians, technical leads, procurement teams and decision?makers
  • Comfortable presenting tailored proposals and engaging at multiple levels within NHS and private healthcare
  • Motivated by developing accounts, winning new business and supporting long?term partnerships

This role is ideal for someone who wants to combine commercial acumen, relationship?building and purpose?led work across sustainability and education in healthcare.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Relations & Development

  • Build strong relationships through calls, emails and face?to?face meetings
  • Manage sales quotes and orders for high?value accounts
  • Identify and prioritise new business opportunities across NHS and private healthcare
  • Work proactively with procurement teams to support compliant, value?driven purchasing
  • Present tailored commercial proposals with strong value and sustainability messaging
  • Review distributor agreements and provide quarterly sales analysis
  • Conduct annual reviews with key revenue?generating accounts
  • Represent the organisation at UK conferences and global distributor meetings

Sustainability & Education

  • Support initiatives aligned with NHS Net Zero
  • Highlight products with measurable sustainability benefits
  • Collaborate with hospitals, universities and neurophysiology networks
  • Contribute to training events, workshops, courses and webinars

Internal Collaboration

  • Share customer updates and insights with internal teams
  • Provide market intelligence to support product positioning and pricing
  • Align opportunities with marketing, operations and sustainability objectives

Market Intelligence & Strategy

  • Map customer structures and identify key contacts
  • Analyse trends, risks and opportunities for inclusion in the Quality Management System
  • Monitor competitor activity
  • Maintain accurate customer data and opportunity tracking
