SEMH Teacher – Bishops Stortford
Start Date: ASAP
Pay: To scale
We are seeking an experienced SEMH Teacher to work with 3–5 secondary-aged pupils requiring additional social, emotional, and mental health support. This role offers a unique opportunity to deliver the primary curriculum in a highly supportive, personalised environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for SEMH pupils
Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
Work one-to-one or in small groups to meet individual needs
Participate in outreach work – a driving license is required
Use restraint techniques when necessary (training required)
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience working with SEMH pupils
Restraint training (or willingness to complete)
Full driving license for outreach work
This is an immediate start role based in Bishops Stortford. Pay is according to the teaching scale.
